How to place your product on Amazon and Ebay?
A prerequisite for successful sales on these marketplaces is the correct placement of your product.
Amazon Product Card
There are two ways to place an item on Amazon. If you are selling your own unique product, you must first take high-quality photos. There are several criteria:
White or plain background.
Lack of watermarks.
A high resolution.
Also prepare clear descriptions.
You can place a product card through a special Amazon seller center, that is, the seller’s personal account.
If the product you want to sell is already in the Amazon catalog, you can copy its card. Just find it in the search by keywords, and then click the Sell on Amazon button – it is located to the right of the description.
Next, a copy of the product’s card will open: edit it (you can’t copy completely), set your own price and state the product’s condition: Collectible, Used-Like New, Used-Very Good, Used-Good, Used -Acceptable. Then specify the delivery time.
Tip: Collectible is best not to choose. Amazon has more stringent requirements for sellers of such products: the site will require product certificates from you. Choose Used-Like New – this is what most users do.
Product card on ebay
EBay’s photo requirements are the same as Amazon’s.
Tip: read the rules for sellers in advance and the list of prohibited items. EBay is guided by international standards, so all these rules will be relevant for other marketplaces.
